We had a great day yesterday! Didn’t break anything and came home safe. We only ran the first run group (six laps each) because it was getting pretty warm and we needed to get Cyn home to rest. We all had SO much fun. A big thanks to all at the Maverick region PCA.

Another band is coming. Looks like the strongest so far. C’mon and rain dangit! 
Starting to pick up a bit now… The next rain band is starting too…
Just had the first rainband from hurricane Ike to go through. Very little wind and very humid. Here’s the view from the patio:

I give up… I’ve come to the horrid conclusion that nothing I say or do matters outside my head. I’m almost 40 and have accomplished nothing - I have no retirement, no savings, no assets. I’m going to have to work until I die. I’ll probably not be able to work that long so I’ll work until I can’t and then I’ll starve to death.
